A successful first solo performance for JAY B at the Bataclan!

As part of his first solo world tour, JAY B, member of the famous GOT7, took over the stage of the mythical Bataclan for a concert combining sweetness and sensuality.

While the whole of France has been shivering for days with mostly negative temperatures, the Bataclan hall was lucky enough to see its thermometer soar for nearly 90 minutes! Bubble of heat that we owe to JAY B as well as to all the fans present in the room. Although the soloist only described the first part of his concert as “sexy”, his fans were of a completely different opinion and continued to be hot, even on a more danceable second part.

Divided into several acts, from the most sensual to the most festive, the performance of the leader of GOT7 knew how to prove that he was an artist in his own right. With a setlist comprising only pieces from his solo career, JAY B puts himself forward, reveals himself and opens up to his audience. And even if he still presents himself as “JAY B from GOT7”, the soloist knew how to make his fans travel in his own universe, mixing sensuality and hip-hop through a few pop-rock phases.

Close to his audience, the singer does not hesitate to approach, to exchange and to play. His first part, which he himself describes as sexy, is proof of this. The first tracks, bathed in a red-orange light, warm the audience. The words “I'm missing you tonight” from “Dive into you” sound like a promise. The singer is also taken at his own game since he will declare that the public makes so much noise that he no longer hears his return in the headset. He will also confide at the end of the evening that he was not prepared to be so hot.

But JAY B is not only adult songs, it is also a varied hip-hop / r'n'b universe! The second part of the show is dedicated to it, with more danceable, more groovy songs. Taken up in chorus by his fans, “Go Up” is a rallying cry, an injunction to aim ever higher. Note also his stage performance. Simple in organization, but effective in execution, the soloist's dancing skills charmed and unleashed the audience during this second part.

Halfway through the evening, JAY B gives way to rapper and friend, Jomalxne, who will take possession of the Bataclan armed with a Paris Saint Germain jersey bearing the name "JAY B" and, as a private joke that he does not does know, will have fun repeating the JuL symbol many times. Three pieces to find out, that's what the rapper presents to us. From a first poetic title written under the stars to another more virulent towards a former girlfriend, the rapper shows off his talents and succeeds in the delicate mission of seducing fans of JAY B.

In summary, it is a balanced concert and mirror of his personality that the soloist has presented. Going from one facet to another, JAY B proves his love for his fans, not hesitating to stop his performance during an incident in the pit. To underline the low use of the singing aid, demonstrating the real vocal abilities of the singer. It is always risky for a group member to go solo and confront his audience alone, however this tour ends up convincing that JAY B exists without and with GOT7!
